Management
|
The management policies of the RISC are determined by the Board of Directors and Board of Trustees of the RTRI, taking into account the discussions held in the key meetings of the center; the Planning and Administration Council and the International Standardization Strategies and Planning Meeting. The center also organizes several Standards Review Committees for international standards, in order to explore their technical details.
The Planning and Administration Council discusses business plans and reports, budgets, and membership admission for the center.
The International Standardization Strategies and Planning Meeting works to explore strategies and plans related to international standards, and enables the exchange of information among attendees. Based on its discussions, proposals and reports are submitted as required to the Railway Technology Standardization Committee.
The Standards Review Committees, such as the IEC/TC9 mirror committee, the ISO/TC269 mirror committee and the ISO/TC17/SC15 mirror committee gather to discuss the details of international standards and various technologies.
